Stripe connection setup
Account verified for this integration: Winston-Salem Historic Inns.
The ChatGPT plugin manages Stripe in conversation. The website also needs its own restricted API key to create checkouts when guests click Pay. Enter it here, never in chat. Only the owner inbox can save this connection.
In the Historic Inns Stripe account, create a live restricted key with Account Read, Checkout Sessions Write, Products Write, Prices Write and Webhook Endpoints Write permissions. No payout or transfer permissions are needed.
Take a payment · past event or balance owed
Create a secure checkout without an inquiry or quote. No email is sent automatically.
For phone payments requiring manual card entry, use the Historic Inns Stripe Dashboard. In the Stripe mobile app select + → Charge a card or send an invoice → Manually Charge Card. Payments created directly in Stripe are visible in Stripe; the history below tracks checkouts created here.
